At Phillips & Co Cosmetic Dentistry, we offer dermal fillers to help restore your youthful look. With a simple, in-practice procedure, you’ll have smoother skin and feel more confident and beautiful.
As we age, our skin loses its elasticity due to a loss of protein and collagen. After we turn 20, our skin produces 1% less collagen each year, which results in thinner skin.
Dermal filler is an injection of collagen or hyaluronic acid that improves the skin’s flexibility, reduces wrinkles, and gives a glowing, youthful look. At Phillips & Co Cosmetic Dentistry, we only use hyaluronic acid due to the potential for allergic reactions from collagen.
Even if you’re not a fan of needles, this conservative procedure is relatively non-invasive. We use tiny needles to inject a small amount of hyaluronic acid into the area you want to improve. Depending on how many areas you’d like to focus on, the procedure can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.
Before your first injection, we’ll assess the condition of your skin and discuss the details of the procedure to help determine if there are any other skin treatments you’d like to pursue as well. Dermal fillers are an excellent option on their own, but they produce stunning results when combined with treatments like wrinkle relaxation.
Dermal filler can last between 3-9 months, depending on which area you focused on. At your initial appointment, your dentist will let you know approximately how long your treatment will last, and you’ll have the opportunity to schedule a second dermal filler appointment.
If you want to tone your skin for a more youthful appearance, let us help you achieve your dreams. At Phillips & Co Cosmetic Dentistry, we believe that everyone’s appearance should match their inner beauty.
Whether you want glowing skin or a gleaming smile, we can help you. Call us on 01325 466 867 to arrange an initial consultation and learn more about our dermal fillers options.BACK TO BLOG
