Good gum health is the cornerstone to great dental health. The gums being the foundations for your teeth need to be strong and healthy to ensure you have your teeth for life.
We will assess you for Gum Disease, which may be early gum disease like Gingivitis or more advanced gum disease like Periodontitis. Depending on the level of gum problems we will offer a personalised preventive programme that will ensure you achieve good brushing and interdental cleansing habits.
Our dental hygienist, Emma Fraser will provide this care for our patients in conjunction with Scott.
Gum disease is mostly a preventable disease and very common so the first step is to be assessed and then start a programme that will see you achieve better gum health. Better gum health can also lead to improvements in your general health. Evidence now shows that your level oral health directly affects your own general health.
